CHINESE FIVE SPICE CHICKEN WINGS RECIPE
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. chicken wings and drumettes
2 to 3 tbsp. cooking oil
1 to 2 tsp. sesame oil
2 to 3 tbsp. light soy sauce
1/2 to 1 tsp. 5 spice powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper or white pepper
1/2 to 1 tsp. sea salt
Preparation:
Rinse chicken wings and drumettes in cold water. Add the the ingredients.
Mix well to coat the chicken pieces. Spread chicken pieces on parchment paper.
Cooking Procedure:
Preheat air fryer at 400 degrees F (204 degrees C). If using a regular oven, also preheat oven at 400 degrees F (204 degrees C). Cooking time is approx. 15 to 20 minutes. For even cooking, turn chicken pieces over half way through. I prefer not to turn chicken wings over to get crispy on one side. For regular oven, cooking time may be slightly longer. Enjoy!
